Why Do I Feel Like I’m On a First Date?

She asked me if I wanted to go with her.
I paused for a moment then quickly said, “Yes”.
That Friday afternoon we arrived at the Grounds of Sculptures,
a 42-acre park of contemporary sculptures in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
I was a little nervous. We were on a date, and it felt good.
Her hand in mine, we walked and explored the gardens of thought-provoking sculptures.
All around us laughter fills the air as children playfully chasing each other around the sculptures.
A peacock calls out. Everyone looks ups to see it perched gracefully on the roof top.
Her smile was like a crescent moon...
