So Gigi made the perfect summer dinner we call the "noodle dish" when she came to visit us in June for Ailah's high school graduation. If you've eaten this dish before you know how delicious it is. Poppy said, "I remember eating my mom's noodle dish ever since my sister and I were kids..., it's AMAZING! - a one stop shop type of dish". I don't think it's Chinese food anymore, the taste is from another world type level, lol. She moved so fast making her noodle dish, no rules on ingredients. She created something of her own. Leave a comment below if you would like me to post Gigi’s noodle dish recipe. Enjoy! 😊 Gigi’s Noodle Dish recipe

So I tried a simple and different way of eating my favorite fish (sea bass 😋). I'd highly recommend it, if you're looking for something new. You don't have to add much else to this meal, it's incredibly delicious. Dip then bite and you'll ignite flavors that lights up every tastebud possible - it could easily become your new favorite food. If you’d like me to post my homemade jerk sauce recipe, leave a comment below. Here are some photos on how I made the fish bites...
Enjoy! Wow! Amazingly deliciously good😋. I wasn’t planning to make this dish but Asenath gave that look and I found myself in the kitchen cooking Saltfish and Johnny Cakes ( aka fried dumplings). My mom showed me how to make this wonderful simple meal. Here is how it’s made... 1 pound of dry codfish (boil for 15 to 20 minutes, low flame to remove most of the salt), chopped onion, tomato, green pepper with whole thyme, leeks and parsley.
Johnny Cakes aka fried dumplings 😋. Here is how they're made...
Fry dumplings until golden brown. Enjoy!!
Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a great weekend despite the unfortunate coronavirus. We’ll get through it, stay safe and stay healthy. So I originally wanted to make saltfish with fried dumplings aka johnny cakes but Asenath said, “l thought you told me you were going to make escovitch fish” I was like, “Errrr”. I totally forgot I said that, smh. After a brief trip to the fish market for the snapper and Aldi for a few ingredients I started preparing our meals. I didn’t have fish, I made my favorite tortilla chipped green salad with roasted red pepper vinaigrette. Me: “How is it?” Asenath: “It’s really good” Me: 😁 Here is how it’s made...

Thank you for reading! Did you have a great weekend? I made one of my favorite dishes for my wife today. Here is how it's made... 1 pound of shrimp, 1 6-ounce salmon fillet and 2 4-ounce lobster tails. Cut the shrimp, salmon fillet and lobster tails into small pieces. Prepare 1/2 cup of curry and 1 can of chickpeas.

Thank you for reading! I know it’s winter, but I had to put together one of my favorite meals for Asenath and Ailah today. I originally made 'jerk barbecue wings' but they’re pescatarians now. It’s quick and easy to make, here is how it's made... 1 pound of shrimp (add lemon or lime), minced onions, green pepper, red pepper, and cilantro. Jamaican jerk seasoning and your favorite barbecue sauce. Jerk seasoning and ingredients are added, along with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, parsley flakes and oregano leaves. (...you can also add pimento and/or thyme). Place in fridge for 1 hour or more.

Thank you for reading! Just finished frying some codfish fritters. Yep, I can do a little something in the kitchen.., LOL. I’m not sure where I got the recipe, but I do remember dining with my wife, Asenath and ordering fried codfish fritters (battercakes, served with creamy avocado dip) for our appetizer. It was delicious 😋. Now I make codfish fritters every chance I get for me and the family. I haven’t created my own special dip but hot sauce works just fine.
